A symphony date with Sully.

It was Sully's one on one turn last weekend with a symphony date. It was actually a double date with Shelley and Hudson. We went to dinner at The Diner and then to the Washington Pavilion to the 'Guardians of the Symphony.' We had a great time as Hudson is really the expert on superheros and could tell us which theme song belonged to who basically at the first note.

We had so much fun, it is amazing how gentle and kind Sully is- especially one on one. He is sweet, effortlessly reaches for my hand, he is silly, too, making jokes at the dinner table and giggling his darling giggle. The symphony was so cool, it was dedicated to superhero songs so the superheros were there, too. We had lots of sightings- like Spiderman, he showed up on one of the balconys while his theme song played. Sully's mind was blown. He climbed into my lap and quietly kept the beat with his little hand on my arm. For those two hours, it was just him and me and I soaked in every single second as my little boy isn't so little any more- his sixth birthday is in two short months and his first loose tooth is barely hanging on.

Im so proud of him.

Update: his tooth fell out before I could publish this post!

Sully and I- he is getting so big!
