A baby girl cousin on each side.

We had been on baby watch for our niece, Lauren for a few weeks. She handled her last month of pregnancy with such grace. Patient and as excited as can be. I only sensed her readiness on her due date, 3/19, when we exchanged a few messages, it basically boiled down to the fact that her due date had come and gone with no excitement and that she would be going in the following day for an induction plan which she was hoping to avoid, that was at 9:30pm. Much to our surprise, we received a message at 9am the following morning informing us of Stella Lynn's arrival. Lauren's water had broke the previous night at 11:25, and Stella was born 8 hours later at 7:30am on 3/20, the first day of spring. She weighed in at 7lbs and 8oz and was 21 inches long. The initial photos were so incredible.
There is so much love for this sweet baby.

We were so excited to meet her the following evening. Lots of baby talk and baby cuddles. Lauren and Elliot are such naturals. Stella is so lucky to have them as parents. We can't wait to watch them all grow as a family. Sully and Greta (and Piper) are thrilled to have a new baby golden cousin (their nickname for Lauren is 'golden cousin').

Dave and I met some friends for trivia after our visit with Stella and much to my surprise, my brother called when we were out to let us know they would be expecting their baby sooner than anticipated. Shelley was actually due on 4/19, but due to some blood pressure issues, they would be starting her induction that evening.

The following day was full of family text messages from Sam with Shelley's progress and plan. After hours of labor and progress, Shelley delivered Sabrina Shirley Ann at 10:59pm on 3/22 weighing in at 5lbs 5oz and 19inches long. Shelley is an official rockstar for surviving what sounds like a miserable labor, I am so proud of her. Sabrina has the fullest head of dark hair I've ever seen. Fortunately, Shelley had stocked up on baby bows, I'm sure Sabrina will be wearing them in no time.

Dave and I went to meet Sabrina the following day and she is such a tiny bundle, and so perfect. It was incredible to hold that tiny little baby in my arms. Shelley dealt with some post pardum issues and was fortunately discharged today. We know Hudson will be an awesome big bro and a big help to Shelley. She is so loved. We are excited for all of them.
