Greta dazzled on stage again, this time in Cinderella as part of the Wait Staff Ensemble. She really loved Cinderella because she spent much more time on stage and learned some great choreography. The show happened to coincide with a weekend I had planned away, so Dave managed like a champ. I was able to catch opening night before a spa/shopping/eating weekend in Denver with Leanne, which I loved every moment of. Unfortunately the weekend turned extra long as I had some flight issues, but in the end, it all worked out. Seeing Greta shine on stage brings me so much joy, her confidence makes me so proud.

After a fantastic few days in Puerto Rico, I was happy to be home with the kids for my birthday. We watched Piper play some tennis in the morning, she surprised us all by coming in second at the CCSF Jr Tennis Open which only added fuel to her tennis flame. We were all excited with her victory. We followed that up with breakfast in bed, flowers from Inflower, Inca for dinner, and the most beautiful birthday cake. There are plenty of challenges and stressors, but life really does keep getting sweeter.

Dave and I put a Bluejay basketball weekend on the calendar and had a blast. We brought a buddy of Sully's to even out the numbers, and everyone had so much fun.
We arrived in time for dinner on Friday evening and had dinner and ice cream. The kids explored the hotel for a few minutes before we came back and watched movies in the hotel. On Saturday, we explored the Old Market, had breakfast at Loula B's, popped into the arcade, saw the Bluejays lose, played some minigolf, and went to Spaghetti Works for dinner, a tween/teenagers dream day come true. On Sunday we went to Creighton, Trader Joes, and Raising Canes.
I promised the boys that if they each scored a basket during thier season that we would do it again next year, what do you know, Henry made the money basket during the very last game, whoop! Until next time.

February brought a bit more of a slowdown, Sully played basketball on the D team for school, which provided unexpected fun for everyone and a good excuse to connect with his friends' parents in the dead of winter. He had loads of support at the game with family coming to watch the fun.
Piper participated in book battles with her avocado team and did so well, and then had fun cheering on her friends in the final.
Greta does her thing, continues to find her groove in middle school and is doing really well.
