Okoboji, golf camp, and whatever else we can squeeze in.

We had three weeks between summer trips and squeezed tons of fun in while we were home.

We made a quick turn around and went to the Kimber's lake cabin the Sunday after we returned. It is such a great group and so fun to have the kids involved. The 'trivia crew' fills my heart.

Sully and Greta took four lessons of golf through The First Tea, which was really fun. They both asked to go back and are looking forward to more golf in their future. Its so cute to see their little bodies figure out the basics in their golf gear. Piper and I followed them around and did our best to keep busy and quiet ;).

We made a quick trip to Okoboji to spend the weekend with the Olivers, although this year we rented a hotel room. We had an amazing lake day on Friday, the kids started out timid of the lake but by the end of the day they were swimming off the boat every chance they got. We had dinner on a patio before a sunset cruise and then made our way back to the room. Saturday day was a bust with lots of rain and lightening and downright cold weather. We spent most of the day driving from place to place looking for something to do. We ended up at a movie and then were able to eat outside for dinner with the kids as Maggie and Jeff had another commitment. We woke up on Sunday morning, hit the park and then came home for my mom's birthday party. It was a full weekend.

We came home and went to the Arc of Dreams opening which is the latest in our Sculpture Walk and is really quite impressive, then hit kids night in the park before jetting off to Michigan for a magical week...stay tuned.
