We ventured off the island a couple of times to La Jolla cove and to Ocean Beach for burgers, otherwise, we stayed close to home. We had cake and ice cream by the ocean to celebrate Auntie Julie's birthday and soaked in the family time. On the Fourth of July, we went to the parade on the island which was really amazing as the military presence is so heavy on Coronado. We followed that with a pool day and a grill out (with minimal grill supplies 😂), and then got treats before walking over to the golf course to watch the fireworks. We all loved every minute of it.
Above all, it was great to pause our full schedules for a week and just be together.
