Munce Family Christmas, Valentine's Day, & Girls Night Fun

We eased into February with a very open calendar. Dave doesn't have any vacation from January-April, so we have settled in, lots of entertaining home. It's nice to stay put, but we are all anxious to get some things on the calendar.

We started the month off with Munce Family Christmas, this year's group was smaller than usual, but with COVID, it all worked out perfectly. We play games and just had fun in each other's company. We decided that rather than this be an annual event, we should do it more often, we are working to keep gatherings on the calendar.

We celebrated Valentine's Day with the Oliver and Peterson family, Sarah is a friend from high school and her husband, Justin has bile duct cancer. It's been great to reconnect with them and their children. Everyone gets along so well. We cooked a fancy meal and had a romantic evening, complete with games and loads of fun, definitely a memorable evening for everyone, especially the dads ;).

The following weekend, Maggie and I had a girls' night planned for the gals downtown. It was really fun, we shopped, had a nice dinner, and then had a spa night in the hotel room. Anna, Greta, and Piper had so much fun refreshing (not as relaxing as that may sound) Maggie and I. We had breakfast at the Diner the follow morning and then the kids spent the remainder of the day at the Oliver's, definitely a day well spent as far as they are concerned.
