Courtney's bridal shower.

As soon as Courtney called to tell me about her engagement, I told her I wanted to host a shower for her. She has been such a big part of our life. She came into the picture when Sully was 6 months old and was our first babysitter. It wasn't all smooth sailing those early days as we navigated Sully and his impossible sleeping situation. But, we managed and she has been such a trooper as we've added kids, a renovation, vacations and other life events. I don't know what we would do without her (props to Maggie for connecting us 😊).

We had a fun hosting committee and had an incredible turn out of close to 45 people! Wow, we had a full house. We served brunch with bagels and egg bakes and cupcakes. We played a game of questions from Andrew and watched her open lots of fun and thoughtful gifts. Sully and Greta and Piper came home close to the end and loved helping Courtney open a few gifts and and then went into full on show-off mode for the guests.

Courtney was lovely and so grateful. It was fun for me to see her with her family and closest friends, and fun to have a morning in honor of her. We are so excited for her big day in April.
