Early March

We're looking forward to warmer weather and summer fun, but in the mean time, we are keeping busy with the day to day grind with some fun sprinkled in, catching up with a few photos from the beginning of the month.

Greta learns how to be a crossing guard,
she loved the first aid part of the gig.

Piper, slice of life.

Sully and Piper sang the Mexico City National
Anthem at a Skyforce game.

Greta, still striving to be a scientist.

Burn Tennis Shoe Gala with my workout friends (Maggie was there, too!).

Birthday Week

Mag and I made the absolute most of our birthday week with dinners and plenty of fun. We made spa reservations and booked a room the evening before a Grand Falls and then made it home by mid morning on our birthday, Dave and I went for lunch at our favorite lunch spot, I got a birthday nap in and the had fajitas for dinner followed by homemade cake and ice cream. 10/10 day. Thanks a million times to Dave and the kids for going above and beyond to make it the most special, and to my sis who simply makes life double the fun. Here's to 44!

Desert Getaway

Dave and I cashed in on a silent auction win and spent a weekend in Tucson, AZ. It was dreamy: picture perfect weather, long hikes, loads of lawn chair time, a spa afternoon, long lunches and slow dinners. One of the highlights was seeing the first lady in her motorcade when we returned from a hike on Saturday morning. It was so cool to see all of the secret service around and to try to figure out how it all worked and who was where, we were star struck. We came home refreshed and happy to see the kids (who had an awesome weekend with Ellie). Until next time!

Feb Fun

We have had a low key month, close to home with slow nights and weekends, and it's been dreamy. Find the details in the photos. :)

Piper's headshot for Cinderella.

Fancy Valentine's Day date with surprises.

Bowling fun with some of this year's interns.

Piper, looking so cute and springy.

9:30pm. Dreamy.

Every once in awhile, we get all 5 together
(pre soccer game).

A soccer game gone wrong... when a 15
year old cousin's soccer goal kick is a smidgen
too strong for our 10 year old goalie's wrist.

All put back together again, (and an older cousin
who is forever on call for an ice cream cone
whenever Greta is in the mood ;)).

Fifth grade Fridays and pink hair. :)

We've been close to home these last few weeks and are making the most of it. We had a brief three weeks of snow on the ground which meant only one thing... Fifth Grade Fridays! Our local ski hill has a promotion for 5th graders making lift tickets and gear really inexpensive, resulting on a bunch of fifth graders at Great Bear. It was fun for all, Sully had so much fun being on his own with his buddies, which inevitably turns into sleepover and more skiing and more fun. Gosh they are all so grown up. Greta, Anna, and Piper got in on the skiing fun, Piper managed like a pro with the big kids...I didn't even have to get skis on this year, the tides are turning. I keep reminding myself that we are in a sweet spot and I hope it lasts a few more years, fingers crossed ;). Lets just hope for more snow!

Greta died her hair pink! She has been asking for years, and the time had finally arrived. It turned out so cute and she absolutely loves it. Sweet G, 10 going on 16.

I love them all so much.

Super Bowl fans or Swifties?

Piper's art, one of each family member, mine has the zzzzzzzs :).

During, squeezing her eyes closed
so she doesn't ruin the surprise.

The reveal, pure joy.

LOR!!!

We were lucky enough to get Lor for an entire weekend!

We had a laid back weekend of conversations, air hockey, happy hours, burger battles, homemade bread, family gatherings, Rocket League, bowling, and whatever else we could fit into 48 hours. It was so perfect, my heart was full, and completely content. There is something about what Lor does to our family, it brings us together in the best way, we simply want to be near him, his positive energy is contagious. We savor every moment. It was really hard for me to see him go. Until next time!

Nod to Alexa who is in Germany.

And off he goes!
